Regional Development Manager -(Sheffield & surrounding)

DSG is seeking a high calibre Regional Development Manager to join our elite MDN (Main Dealer Network ) team. You will be responsible for generating new business by identifying, securing and developing formal relationships with small to medium sized Dealer Groups and Car Supermarkets around the Sheffield area.

A successful Regional Development Manager will have a good level of Business Manager / F+I experience and possess the following qualities:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident presenter
  • 3 Years experience at Business Manager level experience with the Motor Industry
  • Creative
  • Organised with effective time management
  • Positive, can-do attitude
Responsibilities
Maximising the new business volume opportunity within existing key account relationships:
  • Expanding the range of DSG facilities being utilised within each dealership
  • Addressing individual dealerships who may not be supporting
  • Collecting valuable market intel on existing providers
  • Identifying new areas of opportunity within each account to further grow volumes
Delivering effective presentations and training sessions to new and existing accounts:
  • Either face to face or remotely
  • Ensuring dealership personnel are fully competent on all aspects of the DSG point of sale system
  • Promoting how DSG product ranges can help secure additional vehicle and finance sales
  • Setting clear levels of expectation regarding DSG operational processes and service level expectations
Local key account relationship and performance management:
  • Monitoring the KPIs for each key account every week and then review on a monthly basis
  • Using statistical analysis to identify opportunities to improve overall results
  • Issuing monthly review info to key accounts and proactively highlight areas of opportunity
  • Conducting quarterly reviews with any key decision makers as part of ongoing relationship development
Identifying and securing new key account relationships:
  • Maintaining monthly contact with the decision makers of target accounts
  • Identifying the funder policy within each target account – and secure any casual business opportunities
  • Maintaining a working database to record the contact activity and progress of key account acquisition
  • Regularly presenting DSG facilities to new accounts as part of delivering ongoing growth
Key Performance Indicators
  • Paid out transaction numbers
  • Overall gross profitability
  • Utilisation within key accounts (ie the % of dealerships who have business paid out)
Key Drivers:
  • QST point of sale usage
  • Proposal numbers
  • Conversion
Management
  • Reporting to the Senior Regional Development and then ultimately the National Sales Development Manager
Remuneration
  • £Competitive basic plus performance related bonus OTE £65

Salary: £40,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
